Minnesota Orchestra Trumpet Player Performs for Shirley Hills Students

Minnesota Orchestra trumpet player James Vaughen performed for students at Shirley Hills Primary School on February 5. The students were excited to sing along to a few recognizable and favorite tunes.

Vaughen played a variety of instruments for the students, including C trumpet, Bb trumpet, cornet, rotary trumpet, and flugelhorn.

“We are grateful to have the MN Orchestra close by and willing to do outreach to our school!” said music teacher Melissa Bray. “It was a wonderful performance for our students!”
