Shirley Hills Students Showcase Talents at Variety Show

Talented Shirley Hills students took to the stage on January 29 for the Variety Show. The event included 68 second through fourth grade students.

The 31 acts included pianists, gymnasts, dancers, singers, joke teller, poetry reader, violinist, skits, and the first ever “band,” featuring drums, guitar and piano. Students chose their acts, practiced, and then auditioned a few weeks ago to be in the show.

“Students loved performing for their classmates in the afternoon and then played to a full house of parents and friends that night,” said music teacher Melissa Bray.
