Wolf Ridge

YOU DO! Funding for this trip is not part of the school district’s budget, students work throughout their years at Shirley Hills to raise the funds necessary to cover the cost of this trip. Our Wolf Ridge coordinators will offer a yearly school-wide fundraiser to help our families pay for this week-long adventure.

Funds raised by your student will accumulate in an individual account.  All money raised through school fundraiser will accumulate independent of any and all other student’s fundraising efforts. You have the option to forgo fundraising and simply deposit money into your child’s account in order to avoid paying one large lump sum in the fourth grade. Please note that any money deposited in this account does not accrue interest and is non-refundable if you should leave the district.

As the cost to attend Wolf Ridge fluctuates due to tuition, staffing and busing costs, we recommend that families raise between $100-$125 each year starting in kindergarten.

Any balance unpaid, must be paid out of pocket. We have limited dollars for scholarships, so we expect each family to fundraise throughout their years at Shirley Hills.

Each fall a school wide fundraiser will be held to raise funds for your child's Wolf Ridge account. Students in grades K-4 are encouraged to participate.

We will select parent supervisors based on the number of volunteer hours each family submits and gender balance of male/female parent supervisors.  Select 3rd grade volunteer hours and all 4th grade school wide volunteer hours may be submitted to the Google form found on the Shiley Hills Wolf Ridge home page.  To learn more please review our Wolf Ridge Parent Supervisor slideshow.  To find school wide volunteer opportunities pay attention to emails stating that the opportunity counts towards Wolf Ridge hours, our Wolf Ridge Volunteer Opportunities list provides many of the opportunities available throughout the year.
